PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY
The Intersection of Clinical Rigor and Institutional Analysis
My work exists at the nexus of clinical excellence, institutional observation, and womanist scholarship. I founded IMU Consulting and Counseling Services because the people I serve needed a way of working that could not be contained within a single professional category. They needed a clinician who could also read the structural dynamics of an institution, and a consultant who understood what the human body carries in high-stakes environments.
I am a practitioner who brings lived experience and academic rigor into the room as one integrated modality. Whether I am providing individual therapy for trauma or guiding an organization through its complex cultural stress, my philosophy remains rooted in the belief that healing is both a private act and a structural interrogation. My practice is here for the full complexity of what you are carrying.
